Do your colleagues, friends and family use the internet, go
on holiday and know a good deal?
There is one often high value item that many people buy on
a regular basis, that is family friendly and fun, that is easy
to buy online and that you can make money from with a little
time and writing skills. That product category is holidays and
other travel related services, including flights and hotel /
apartment accommodation, and running even just a single travel
page can help you earn from your own knowledge and photos.

Get writing, readers and traffic
The first thing to do is to forget about commissions, revenue
and percentages. Choose a holiday area or travel topic that
interests you and that you know a fair bit about. Think of different
sections for your site, various articles that you can write
and make your selection of digital pictures. Start to build
your site and publish your first few pages. Build your traffic
with a bit of website promotion and keep writing new articles
or other content for your site. Keep it fresh and give readers
a reason to keep coming back. Once you have generated a regular
and fair amount of traffic you can then start thinking about
the options available to monetise the site. You could choose
from PPC (pay per click) contextual ads, independent affiliate
programs or negotiated page sponsorship. One of the easiest
ways to tap into the holiday affiliate market, however, has
to be a simple package holiday search box which you can easily
include on your page by pasting a snippet of code into the html.
Do you want to get your own slice of the online internet marketing
pie?
Including a travel ad or holiday search box on a page at your
website can earn you some cold hard currency by helping your
visitors find great value holidays. You can cover your hosting
costs, make some additional income or even develop a fully fledged
business model. You gain revenue through affiliate marketing
commissions. Some holiday companies whose results will be searchable
via an ad on your site offer an affiliate program and reporting
from one of the UK's major affiliate networks, Affiliate
Future
Forget the internet marketing ebooks!
If you have been reading those ebooks telling you how to make
a fortune online then stop now! Those 'secret insider guru'
guides mostly recycle the same information that is already freely
available on various sites, forums and blogs. The truth is that
you CAN make money from your website by showing affiliate marketing
ads. Increase your traffic and visitors via SEO, SEM or other
means and your revenue can increase accordingly. An elaborated
strategy, special tools, tactics and analysis are, however,
merely the fine tuning of this understanding. Much can only
be learnt in action and in relation to your own sites so there's
no excuse not to start.
If all of this is completely new territory to you, but you
have an interest in earning travel revenue from a website, then
read on; this site aims to help you make your first affiliate
commissions with a simple holiday page, travel ads and search
facility. From there you can begin to learn more about being
an affiliate, checking and analysing stats, planning your own
marketing and promotion etc etc. Put very simply Affiliate Marketing
or 'AM' is a model where you make money when someone makes a
purchase, say a holiday, at another company's site that they
have found through an advert shown on your website. The more
bookings you generate, the greater the revenue you earn. Join

Do you want to earn average commissions of £10+ when
your friends. family and other visitors find their holidays
through your travel page?
How much will you earn for each booking? Your commission will
vary, but commissions for holiday and travel products may be
less than 1% for flights, 2% or above for holiday packages,
and 5% or above for hotel accommodation. With many holiday bookings
exceeding £1000 it is easy to generate an average of £10
or above* from each one made. An average of one a day could
feasibly generate in excess of £3,650 in commission over
the course of a year. Getting one a day is, of course, a serious
challenge and may well incur significant additional costs for
website hosting, support and marketing.

Do you want Free Search Boxes, Templates and Sample Pics?
The network provides reporting and payment functions plus a
selection of creatives (adverts and links) from many travel
companies and other merchants in other sectors. Some will also
offer a live search box facility. You could also supplement
your pages with ads for luggage, entertainment tickets, portable
electrical items, summer clothing and more. The network tracks
all transactions originating from your site and payable commissions
from merchants. You are paid directly by the affiliate network.
You do not pay a subscription or membership fee to carry an
ad or holiday search box on your site; you earn revenue from
each holiday that is confirmed after being found through a search
box, text link or banner advert on your page; you are not involved
in aggregating and comparing the results or in the booking process,
not acting as a travel agent and you do not process payments
from holiday buyers. All of this is done on the network's and
companies' sites where everything is automated. Search boxes
frequently cover departure date and location, destination, price,
duration and flexibility all in a variety of standard web sizes
and easy to customise to match the colour scheme of your existing
site. We've even created a few simple free page templates for
you to use with a search box or graphical advert. All you need
to do is substitute your own ad or search box in there and insert
your site details and it's ready to upload plus we'll soon be
featuring a selection of travel related pictures for you to
use until you process your own
